PV Express is easy to use for sales staff, or the
non-specialist, whoever needs a basic, reliable tool to design
grid-connected PV systems quickly and precisely. The programme is
user-friendly, with just a few clearly laid-out dialogues, allowing each
project to be completed easily and reliably. Main programme features.
PV Sol 3.0 is a fully featured dynamic simulation
programme for the design and calculation of photovoltaic system
performance which enables skilled users to calculate PV systems with
multi-string inverters and include a roof layout diagram in the project
report. Both grid-connect and stand-alone are options. With the included
module MeteoSyn, users can generate extra international climate data for
PV Sol.
PV Sol 3.0, leading the field in simulation
and calculation programmes, can now calculate multi-string
inverters with the corresponding number of MPP trackers and
various series/string configurations. Another brand new feature
is the roof layout facility, which determines the number of
modules for each sub-array. The roof parameters dialogue is
simple to use and the roof layout diagram can be included
in the project report. With these two new features, the planning
of photovoltaic systems with PV Sol is now even more precise.
PV Sol continues to be unique in its ability
to calculate thin film modules, as the
mathematical model for the simulation of PV modules also includes
operating points for non-standard characteristic curves.
With these new features, the planning of solar
thermal systems with T Sol is now even more precise, making
it an invaluable tool for engineers, energy consultants and
planners of photovoltaic systems. The MeteoSyn climate data software is now included free of charge with
PV Sol 3.0. It contains average values for approximately 2000 locations
worldwide, including over 200 UK locations. It also provides the user
with the ability to import their own specific climate location data.
