What is the Valentin SMA?

The Valentin SMA is a service that ensures that you will always be working with the latest version of Valentin programs (i.e. T*SOL or PV*SOL). In addition, it means that any new updates to the software or the databases will be sent to you automatically as they are released.

What are the advantages of having the Valentin SMA?

• Automatic electronic delivery of all database and program updates.
• Ensures latest information at your fingertips.
• Increased efficiency and reduced cost to manage the update process.
• Rapid response for delivery, serial numbers and activations of programs/updates.

What is the scope of the Valentin SMA?

• Electronic delivery of all program updates.
• Access to updated component data.

What is not in the scope of the Valentin SMA?

• Technical support.
• Administration of non-SMA sales.

What are the details?

• The Valentin SMA costs around 18% of the Euro list price of the software per year.
• The Valentin SMA is available on a continuous rotating basis and is renewed annually. The contract year is measured as being 1 year from the date of commencement.
• Currently, the Valentin SMA is only available for PV*SOL Pro, PV*SOL Expert and T*SOL Pro.
• Currently, there are no Valentin SMAs available for T*SOL Expert or PV*SOL express, but these will eventually be introduced when the update cycle is ready.

What are the conditions?

The agreement is only available for the current program versions. See below for the latest price in GBP Sterling, US Dollars or Euros.

What if I don’t have the current version of the software?

Any customer who does not have the latest version of the software will need to first purchase an update before being able to sign up to the SMA. Prices for updates are available on request.

Please note:

Only programs that were purchased from January 1st 2008 can be updated. All programs that were purchased before this date can no longer be updated and a completely new purchase must be made. Eventually, the only way to update a program will be through a Valentin SMA.
